Job summary

Raymond James UK is seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join our Financial Planning team in London. You will provide technical expertise to Financial Planning Advisors, producing suitability reports and supporting the end-to-end advice process.

You will conduct research across pensions, investments, protection and estate planning, mentor junior colleagues, and ensure FCA compliance. This is a collaborative role focused on delivering high-quality client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant paraplanning experience within a financial planning, wealth management or private client environment.
• Strong technical knowledge across key areas of financial planning.
• Experience supporting high-net-worth and complex client cases.
• Excellent report-writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience using financial planning and cashflow modelling tools.
• CII Level 4 Diploma with progression towards Level 6/Chartered status preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality suitability reports, recommendations and client review documentation.

• Liaise with clients, providers and professional connections as required.

• Support the production of management information and reporting.
• Mentor and share knowledge with junior team members where appropriate.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.
