Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Consultant in General Paediatrics and High Dependency Care for a 7 PA substantive post at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. The role supports the critical care team across HDU areas and delivers outpatient clinics.

Applicants should have a CCT in General Paediatrics with HDU SPIN or equivalent, or be within 12 months of achieving this at interview, or be on the GMC specialist register. The post is permanent and part-time.

Qualifications

• CCT in General Paediatrics with HDU SPIN or equivalent.
• Within 12 months of achieving at the date of interview.
• Listed on the GMC specialist register.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients across the 3 HDU areas (Cardiac, Surgical, Medical).
• Deliver routine general paediatric outpatient clinics.
• 2nd on morning shifts for the acute paediatric team.
