Job summary

Epsom and St Helier Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Highly Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist & Therapy Team Lead to oversee services for children with complex needs at Perseid Special School in Morden. This Band 7 post focuses on expert clinical work, supervision and service development within the Sutton Health and Care alliance.

You will plan and deliver advanced physiotherapy, supervise staff, contribute to annual reviews, and work closely with families, education staff and other health

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
• Registration with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
• Evidence of postgraduate training or attendance at short courses to develop specialist skills
• Attendance at or membership of relevant specialist networks

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist paediatric physiotherapy assessment and treatment
• Manage a defined caseload of children/young people with complex needs
• Collaborate with families, school staff and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide clinical supervision and appraisals to staff
• Develop and implement service improvements in Perseid special schools
