Job summary

Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) is recruiting a Senior Charge Nurse for CHAS at Home to provide visible clinical leadership and shape high-quality, responsive child-focused palliative care in the community across Scotland.

The role leads the CHAS at Home team, collaborates with the NHS and Health and Social Care Partnerships, and develops care models that reflect families' wishes, including end-of-life care at home.

Qualifications

• Must hold Registered Nurse (Child) or Registered Nurse (Learning Disability) qualification and a degree at minimum.
• Substantial nursing experience including senior experience at NHS Band 6 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, compassionate clinical leadership for CHAS at Home.
• Lead delivery and development of specialist paediatric palliative care within the community.
• Collaborate with CHAS, NHS and Health and Social Care Partnerships to improve service delivery.
• Develop models of care that are accessible, responsive and equitable for children and families.
