Children and Family Health Devon is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the 0-18 OT Team within the Integrated Physical & Sensory Pathway. You will assess children and young people with EHCPs, set outcome-focused goals and deliver treatment across schools, homes and clinics in Devon.

The role requires HCPC registration and substantial paediatric experience; sensory integration training is welcomed but not essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration are required.
• Substantial paediatric OT experience is essential.
• Experience with EHCP-based assessments is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Assess children and young people with EHCPs and set outcome-focused goals.
• Deliver treatment programmes, reviews and advisory work per EHCPs.
• Provide interventions in schools, homes, clinics and community settings across Devon.
• Manage a varied caseload from primary age to Year 13.
• Evaluate interventions over time to support meaningful outcomes.
• Apply sensory integration principles alongside evidence-based approaches.
• Support development of independence and functional life skills in education and daily living.
• Collaborate with children, families, schools and wider professionals.
