Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Paediatric Consultant to join the Paediatric High Dependency Unit (PHDU) at RMCH. Qualifications

• MB ChB or equivalent.
• MRCPCH or show evidence of equivalent training.
• Full and specialist GMC registration (and a licence to practise).
• UK-trained applicants must be within 6 months of CCT at interview; non-UK trained require evidence of UK CCT equivalence.

Responsibilities

• The PHDU consultant on call leads ward rounds and escalation/de-escalation in treatment.
• Liaises with other critical care consultants and subspecialty colleagues to coordinate care on site.
