Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant in Paediatric High Dependency Care to help develop and lead the PHDU at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. The role is a full-time 10 Programmed Activity post with on-site responsibilities and close collaboration with paediatric critical care teams.

The successful candidate will bring extensive paediatric HDU experience across medical, surgical, neonatal and neurosurgical areas, and will assume on-call leadership for patient

Qualifikationen

• Experience in Paediatric High Dependency units and critical care.
• Extensive experience in medical, surgical, neonatal, and paediatric subspecialties.

Aufgaben

• Lead ward rounds and clinical care for PHDU patients.
• On-call responsibilities for paediatric HDU with escalation/de-escalation decisions.
• Liaise with critical care and paediatric specialists to optimise patient care.
• Provide direct clinical care on site at RMCH during working hours.
