Job summary

Argos is seeking a Finance Manager - P2P to drive process and control excellence across the purchase to pay cycle. You will oversee supplier data, invoicing, payments and payroll while managing outsourced service delivery and governance.

The role emphasizes risk management, compliance and collaboration with multiple teams to enhance financial performance. In a high-volume retail environment, you will influence improvements, support audits, and contribute to budgeting and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Experience managing end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) operations and accounting controls in high-volume environments.
• Experience with outsourced/service providers and using performance metrics to drive improvements.
• Ability to assess risks and make evidence-based decisions, resolving complex issues including escalated queries.
• Clear communication, collaboration and continuous improvement mindset to build partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure process and control excellence across the entire P2P cycle.
• Oversee supplier master data, invoicing, expense processing, payments, reconciliations and payroll.
• Monitor outsourced service delivery, governance and financial controls to ensure accurate processing.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve efficiency, risk management and financial performance.
