Kingsland School is seeking a Secondary Outreach Senior Officer to support our outreach service and reduce permanent exclusions across the borough. This role offers a permanent contract with term-time plus 5 days pattern and a 36.66-hour week across sites.

You will assess pupils, develop and implement behavior-management systems, and work with mainstream schools to raise standards while coordinating with a team of professionals.

Qualificações

• Experience in education outreach or behaviour support is desirable.
• Ability to assess at-risk pupils and provide strategies.
• Willingness to work across multiple sites and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the needs of the pupils using detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support learning and behaviour both inside and outside of the classroom.
• Establish productive working relationships with pupils acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
• Establish constructive relationships and communicating with other agencies / professionals to support the achievements and progress for pupils.
• To present accurate written reports when appropriate and assist in the training and development of staff.
• Supervise teaching assistants and hold regular team meetings with staff promoting new developments.
• To identify, assess and support schools and academies on strategies to promote positive behaviour.
• Undertake observations and provide accurate feedback with follow up implementation and monitoring.
• To prepare for, attend and actively contribute to a wide range of meetings.
• The successful candidate will work with a committed and supportive staff team.
