Job summary

AVH Parks is seeking an Outdoor & Large Scale Commercial Events Manager to lead complex events across the park network, from concept to completion. You’ll drive revenue, manage contracts, ensure safety, and coordinate with partners and authorities in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, a proven track record in outdoor events, and the ability to travel between parks in the Eastern Region while working weekends/evenings as the schedule requires.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex or large-scale events.
• Ability to own contracts, risk, safety and compliance.
• Commercial thinker with ROI focus.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver a large-scale outdoor events strategy across multiple parks.
• Identify income opportunities, partnerships, filming and media use.
• Lead event planning including contracts, licenses, risk assessments and safety docs.
• Act as accountable for compliance, delivery and evaluation.
• Manage external stakeholders: organisers, partners, emergency services and authorities.
• Support park teams to deliver smaller events while upholding standards.
