Job summary

Central London Community Health Trust is recruiting a Band 7 Occupational Therapy Team Lead for a six-month fixed-term role in an inpatient rehabilitation service in Hertfordshire. You will manage a specialist caseload and provide expert OT assessment and treatment within a multidisciplinary team.

The postholder will support service development, act as a clinical resource for OT colleagues across Hertfordshire, and supervise students while promoting learning and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in occupational therapy.
• Postgraduate CPD portfolio.
• Current HCPC registration as an OT.

Responsibilities

• Manage a specialist caseload of patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
• Undertake highly specialised OT assessment and treatment using evidence-based approaches.
• Provide expert OT advice to patients, carers and health professionals.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary inpatient rehabilitation team to support safe, person-centred care.
• Act as a specialist clinical resource for OT colleagues across Hertfordshire.
• Support the OT Lead with service development and collaboration with health and social care partners.
• Share specialist knowledge and contribute to developing OT practice across the service.
• Support colleagues to develop clinical knowledge and supervision skills.
