Home Group Limited in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our clinical team. You will assess and plan interventions to help customers with complex needs live more independent, fulfilled lives, balancing health, housing and care in a joined-up approach.

You’ll collaborate with nurses and other therapists, manage a caseload, and lead service improvements while aligning with our customer-centred model.

Competenze

• HCPC Occupational Therapist registered with experience working with complex needs.
• Able to carry out thorough assessments and develop evidence-based interventions.
• Person-centred and strengths-based approach to empower customers.
• Confident in risk assessment and management to balance safety and independence.
• Excellent communication with customers, families, carers and colleagues across disciplines.
• Curious and forward-thinking mindset to improve practice and share knowledge.

Mansioni

• Carry out in-depth assessments and interventions to help customers build skills and independence.
• Provide clinical guidance to colleagues to support safe day-to-day care.
• Design personalised interventions, including positive behaviour support plans.
• Collaborate with nurses and fellow occupational therapists as part of a joined-up team.
