Job summary

Exemplar Health Care seeks a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide specialist assessments, diagnoses and interventions across four North East services. You will lead a clinical team and deliver person-centred therapy to maximise residents’ independence.

You will manage a clinical caseload, collaborate with the Therapy Team and ensure accurate records while promoting dignity and choice in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Specialist assessments and clinical diagnoses to support residents.
• Create person-centred care and rehabilitation plans to maintain and build abilities.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy and rehabilitation interventions across sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload.
• Develop and deliver person-centred OT interventions with the Therapy Team.
• Collaborate with Physiotherapist, Therapy Assistant and Activities Coordinators.
• Carry out assessments and maintain accurate records.
• Promote choice, dignity and independence.
