Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to deliver specialist assessments and interventions across four North East services, empowering residents to maximise independence.

You will lead a clinical team, deliver evidence-based therapy, and build strong relationships with residents, families and professionals to ensure high-quality care and rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered.
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of best practice in occupational therapy.
• Ability to demonstrate a wide range of occupational therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload and deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
• Lead and supervise Junior Therapists or Therapy Assistants across multiple homes.
• Collaborate closely with the Therapy Team and other professionals to deliver person-centred care.
• Carry out assessments and maintain accurate records for residents receiving occupational therapy.
• Promote choice, dignity and independence for residents.
