Job summary

sjb medical is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Community Equipment Service team in Woodford Green. This role involves providing specialist clinical advice, authorising equipment orders, and improving service efficiency while ensuring timely access to equipment.

The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Occupational Therapy, be HCPC registered, and have significant senior-level experience. Benefits include 33 days annual leave, a company pension scheme, and structured training.

Qualifications

• Significant post-qualification experience at a senior level.
• Strong experience within Community Equipment Services.
• Knowledge of clinical governance, legislation, and equipment provision.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist clinical advice to CES prescribers.
• Review and authorise specialist equipment orders.
• Deliver training and equipment demonstration sessions.
• Undertake audits and service improvement projects.
• Work collaboratively with health and social care professionals.
