Optical Express in Bristol seeks a Senior Surgery Manager to lead and oversee high-performing ophthalmic surgical services, with strong experience in Laser Vision Correction and cataract surgery.

The role requires regulatory governance knowledge and the ability to drive clinical excellence across multiple hospitals, travel across the Midlands, London, Anglia and the South West is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of ophthalmic surgical services.
• Strong understanding of LVC and cataract surgery.
• Experience in clinical governance and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across surgical services.
• Act as the CQC Registered Manager ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Oversee Cataract and Laser Vision Correction services to maintain safety and quality.
• Drive governance, risk management, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
