Optical Express in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Surgery Manager to lead and oversee ophthalmic surgical services, including Laser Vision Correction and cataract surgery. You will ensure world-class standards, regulatory compliance with CQC, and high patient outcomes across multiple hospitals.

The role requires extensive leadership of multidisciplinary teams, strategic governance, and travel to hospitals across regions.

Competenze

• Experience as senior surgery manager or equivalent in ophthalmology.
• Registered with CQC or proven regulated surgical service management.
• Willingness to travel to multiple hospitals across regions.
• Strong communication and governance knowledge.

Mansioni

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across surgical services.
• Act as the CQC Registered Manager and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead multidisciplinary clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver patient care.
• Oversee Cataract and Laser Vision Correction services to highest safety/quality standards.
• Manage clinical governance, risk, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and healthcare legislation.
• Drive service performance against KPIs, patient satisfaction and financial targets.
