Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Process Engineer to be based in our client's office in Aberdeen on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office). This is a 6-month contract on a PSC basis, working outside IR35.

The role involves developing operating procedures for project scopes and managing interfaces across offshore and onshore operations and project teams. Initial focus will be on Teal West, linked to deck seal/WHRU, requiring a good understanding of process systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering expertise and input to process studies.
• Define process requirements for platform modifications.
• Check and approve process engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, datasheets, line lists.
• Support HAZOPs/HAZID’s and technical reviews.
• Resolve process-related engineering issues, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Participate in design reviews and interdisciplinary checks.
• Maintain knowledge to meet competency requirements.
• Utilize software tools like Hisys for design development and checking.

Qualifications

MSc, MEng or equivalent, or BSc, BEng with relevant experience, or HNC/HND with considerable relevant experience.
