Job summary

Claremont and Holyport Surgery are seeking an experienced, proactive Operations Manager to join our Practice Management team for 25 hours per week. This is a senior operational role with responsibility for quality and governance, CQC compliance, premises and estates, health and safety, risk management and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A good standard of education, with an expectation of having both GCSE Maths and English.
• Leadership and / or management qualification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the practice's quality and governance framework and reporting.
• Ensure CQC compliance and up-to-date policies and procedures.
• Oversee premises, estates and facilities and related service contracts.
• Coordinate health and safety, fire safety, risk assessments and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain the policy review programme and ensure documents are current.
• Coordinate quality improvement, audits and QOF-related activity with data monitoring.
• Provide leadership and supervision to administrative staff.
• Coordinate patient complaints, concerns and feedback and derive service improvements.
• Oversee the practice website, social media and patient communications.
• Support business continuity and operational resilience and development.
