Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide senior on-site leadership at Hinkley Point C, Bridgewater. The role focuses on delivering planned and reactive maintenance, managing incidents, and coordinating subcontractors to meet strict safety and performance standards.

The successful candidate will have proven leadership in engineering/maintenance operations, strong stakeholder management, and a solid track record in meeting SLAs/KPIs within highly regulated

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering, maintenance, or critical-infrastructure operations.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management experience.
• Experience managing teams, workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Delivering planned and reactive works against SLAs/KPIs.
• Experience managing incidents, service restoration, and escalation.
• Knowledge of RAMS, safe systems of work, and permit-to-work environments.
• Experience managing subcontractors and third-party suppliers.
• Strong commercial awareness including cost management.
• Strong reporting and meeting-management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to meet HPC site-access requirements.
• Previous HPC or nuclear-regulated environment experience.
• IOSH Managing Safely or higher-level H&S qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior on-site operational leadership at Hinkley Point C.
• Oversee delivery of planned and reactive maintenance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Manage incidents, risk, and escalation with clear communications.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure compliance with safe-working practices.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
