Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Operations Manager to provide senior on-site leadership at Hinkley Point C. You will oversee resident teams, maintenance, and subcontractors, aligning resources with planned work, outages, and customer requirements.

The role requires delivering on SLAs with strong governance, RAMS compliance, and incident response. On-site management, reporting, and continuous improvement are central to this role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering, maintenance, or critical-infrastructure operations.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management experience.
• Experience delivering planned and reactive works against SLAs and KPIs.
• Experience managing incidents, service restoration, and operational risk.
• Good knowledge of RAMS, safe systems of work, and permit-to-work processes.
• Experience managing subcontractors and third-party suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior on-site operational leadership at Hinkley Point C.
• Lead the resident operational, maintenance and support team and subcontractors.
• Manage daily priorities, resource allocation and competing demands across maintenance, reactive works, projects and customer requests.
• Maintain an integrated operational plan covering resources, access, outages, dependencies, and risks.
• Lead operational meetings and ensure actions are tracked to completion.
• Provide leadership during incidents, service disruption and periods of high demand.
• Escalate issues exceeding delegated authority, resources, scope or risk tolerances.
