Job summary

drnewitt.vincere.io is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to own end-to-end operations of a 30,000 sq ft cold storage facility in Sheffield. You will lead a 15‑strong team, including Warehouse Managers and Team Leaders, driving depot performance, ensuring cold chain integrity, and upholding BRC standards.

The role includes 3PL management, budgeting, and continuous improvement of day-to-day warehouse operations, with a focus on safety, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multi-tier warehouse teams.
• Experience driving BRC compliance and quality systems.
• Experience in frozen/cold storage or temperature-controlled distribution.
• 3PL network management and cost optimization.
• Strong budgeting, P&L, and procurement skills.
• Experience implementing health and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and cold storage operations; lead managers and supervisors to meet KPIs.
• Manage 3PL providers for efficient regional distribution.
• Lead BRC targets, quality systems and food safety protocols.
• Implement H&S systems, risk assessments, and SSOW compliance.
• Direct budgeting, variances, cost controls, and stock accuracy improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation across site operations.
