Alexandra Hospital is seeking an experienced service manager to oversee clinical service points across the continuum of care. You will drive customer service, ensure delivery against volume and financial targets, and collaborate with clinical heads to optimize processes and patient care.

You will lead a mixed team of nursing and non-nursing staff, manage budgeting and development of new services, and participate in campus planning and committees.

Qualificações

• Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience in healthcare industry.
• Analytical, quantitative with strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines.
• Good analytical and organization skills.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage service point operations assigned.
• Responsible for daily operations of these service points, including front counter services, administrative / operational matters and partnering Nurse Manager and other stakeholders to solve system and process problems.
• Devise innovative services to continually improve service levels and patient care.
• Achieve volume and financial targets for clinical targets assigned.
• Manage budgeting and regular reviews with clinical heads, and development of new services.
• Manage a group of non-nursing staff providing services in service points; conduct appraisals for non-nursing staff.
• Ensure non-nursing staff induction, orientation and training so they possess appropriate skills and knowledge.
• Recruit and retain staff to achieve a stable, skilled and motivated workforce and desired outcomes.
• Ensure two-way communication between staff and management and timely dissemination of information.
• Contribute to campus development workshops and planning.
• Participate in committees and other tasks as assigned.
