Job summary

Quick Staff UK is recruiting an experienced Operations Delivery Manager to lead civil engineering, groundworks and foundation projects across the UK. The role combines site leadership with project delivery oversight from Newport and on-site at various locations.

You will manage the Project Manager and site teams, ensure safety, programme and budget adherence, and work with senior management, clients and SHEQ. Travel across the UK is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree, HND or HNC in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Civil preferred).
• Strong construction or civil engineering experience and project/operational management background.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors; good commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the planning and delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Managing and supporting Project Managers and site delivery teams.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
• Reviewing project objectives, budgets, programmes and schedules.
• Allocating resources and delegating responsibilities across projects.
• Monitoring project performance and identifying potential issues early.
• Maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Overseeing project cost control and commercial reporting.
• Overseeing RAMS and safe systems of work; project documentation.
