Job summary

Quick Staff UK is recruiting an experienced Operations Delivery Manager to lead civil engineering project delivery across the UK. You will oversee Project Managers, site teams and client relations, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget project delivery.

The role requires strong construction experience, formal engineering qualifications, and readiness to travel across the UK with hybrid working in place.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience delivering civil/construction projects.
• Experience leading site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong cost-control and budgeting experience.
• Knowledge of SHEQ and CDM Regulations 2015.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel UK sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Lead Project Managers and site delivery teams.
• Ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Review objectives, budgets, programmes and schedules.
• Allocate resources across projects.
• Monitor performance and flag issues early.
• Maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
• Attend client and progress meetings.
• Oversee cost control and commercial reporting.
• Review drawings and subcontractor information.
• Oversee RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Ensure procurement schedules to sites.
• Support tender submissions.
• Promote health and safety culture.
