Coopman Search and Selection are delighted to partner exclusively with a leading quantitative investment firm focussed on systematic trading strategies in global markets. The role will report directly to the Operations Manager based in London.

This is a newly created role that will be key in onboarding portfolio managers (PMs) and their trading strategies within the organization. The position requires operational expertise, project management skills, and an understanding or interest in trading and hedge funds. It also includes broader middle office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage onboarding processes for new portfolio managers, including account setup, infrastructure, and connectivity.
• Coordinate with compliance, legal, IT, risk, and operations teams to meet onboarding requirements.
• Establish trading accounts and ensure they meet counterparty requirements.
• Oversee data integration, execution workflows, and performance monitoring setups.
• Document and configure trading systems and platforms.
• Create and maintain onboarding project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Serve as the main contact for onboarding queries and update stakeholders regularly.
• Coordinate with brokers, exchanges, and data providers for smooth onboarding.
• Maintain communication with portfolio managers to address their needs.

Experience Required:

• 4-7 years of experience in operations, onboarding, or related roles within hedge funds, asset management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and relevant financial and operational software; experience with OMS/EMS systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and regions.
• Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
