Job Description:

A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund is looking to make a newly created hire for its expanding London office.

The hire will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and will serve as an SME for equities, taking ownership of operations/middle office tasks related to the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. As many tasks are outsourced, the role will focus on analytical tasks, oversight of external service providers, and project work—primarily related to infrastructure buildout or support for equities investment professionals. The hire will also act as a first point of contact for multiple prime brokers in the European equities business.

The firm values career progression; the initial plan is for the hire to develop into an Operations Manager. Opportunities for internal transfer to international offices and career growth into roles such as desk assistant, business management, treasury, or change roles are available for top performers.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, with a strong background in equities, excellent academic credentials, and strong technical skills.
