Job Description:

A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund is looking to make a newly created hire for its expanding London office.

The hire will report directly to the European Head of Operations / Middle Office and will be an SME for equities, taking ownership of operations and middle office tasks related to the firm’s expanding equities investment strategy. As many tasks are outsourced, the role will focus on analytical tasks, oversight of external service providers, and project work, mainly related to infrastructure buildout or support for equities investment professionals. The hire will act as a first point of contact for the European equities business, facing off to multiple prime brokers.

The firm values progression, and while the initial role is to develop into an ‘Operations Manager’, there are opportunities to move into roles such as desk assistant, business management, treasury, or change management. High performers may also transfer internally to international offices in the future.

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in hedge fund operations, with a strong background in equities, excellent academic credentials, and strong technical skills.

The position offers a salary range of £80,000 to £110,000, with top performers earning significant bonuses.
