Job summary

WSP is seeking a motivated professional to join the Intelligent Infrastructure safety group, delivering expert analysis in transport safety. You will work with senior experts across roads, rail, energy and active travel to provide a tailored safety offering for government and clients.

The role focuses on high-quality technical work, risk assessment, and evidence-based safety governance, with collaborative delivery and opportunities to mentor junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and/or reviewing safety risk assessments and hazard logs within transport is desirable.
• Experience applying safety by design concepts and CDM 2015 principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to construct compelling narratives.

Responsibilities

• Undertake high-quality technical work across the Intelligent Infrastructure discipline.
• Collaborate with senior experts and specialists to deliver on client projects.
• Present findings and recommendations to client forums and industry stakeholders.
• Support development of early career professionals and growth of the Operational Safety area.
