Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a qualified professional to join our Intelligent Infrastructure safety team. You will deliver high-quality operational safety work across roads, rail and energy projects, collaborating with senior experts and junior colleagues to support design, governance and risk management.

You will undertake qualitative and quantitative data analysis, engage stakeholders, and help grow our Operational Safety expertise, while building a varied portfolio at national

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and/or reviewing safety risk assessments, hazard logs and risk registers within transport.
• Understanding safety by design concepts and CDM 2015 applicability.
• Solid consultancy background with ability to develop client proposals.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert safety advice across transport and infrastructure projects.
• Lead technical work packages with time, cost and quality ownership.
• Engage with stakeholders (emergency services, highway authorities, transport operators).
• Support development of junior colleagues and early career professionals.
