Reporting to: Operational Analytics Team Lead

Role Purpose: Deploy, maintain, and enhance analytics tools, primarily using the Elastic stack, and collaborate on cutting-edge technologies like AI, ML, Databricks, and GraphQL.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver solutions using the Elastic Stack and other platforms
• Support and maintain Elastic products
• Collaborate with teams to ensure data feeds are accurate and fit for purpose
• Assist in planning technical implementations
• Stay updated on technical skills and mentor others
• Innovate and improve products
• Participate in Scrum rituals and team activities
• Build cross-team relationships

Essential Skills:

• Expertise in Elastic stack (Logstash, Kibana, Watcher, REST, painless scripting)
• Experience with operational and business data analysis
• Knowledge of real-time systems and Azure data processing
• Proficiency in scripting (Python preferred)
• Experience mentoring junior engineers
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Attention to detail and adaptability

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, MS SQL Server, Azure DevOps
