Job summary

Leonardo in London is seeking a 3rd Line Platform Engineer to own complex Windows-based infrastructure within a high-security MOD environment. You will design, deploy, and support enterprise systems ensuring availability and security.

The role requires DV clearance, on-site work in London, and collaboration with network, security, and application teams to deliver reliable IT services while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Ivanti lockdown proficiency.
• Experience with high-security MOD systems.
• Familiarity with RMADS, SyOPs, and NIST frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own complex technical issues through to resolution.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for incidents from 1st/2nd line.
• Deploy and secure Windows Server environments (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP).
• Maintain infrastructure security measures and patching.
• Use monitoring tools to optimize performance and availability.
• Create documentation and mentor colleagues.
