NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Lead Onshore Civil Engineer for a flagship UK wind project. The role focuses on managing the onshore cables scope from design to construction, including Landfall and onshore substations.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in civil engineering and 5+ years in onshore cross country cable projects, with strong stakeholder management and project leadership capabilities. Hybrid work in London with travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of technical civil engineering experience.
• 5+ years in onshore cross country cable project development.
• Deep understanding of civil design and construction for onshore export cables.

Aufgaben

• Lead onshore civil design and construction for landfall and onshore substations.
• Support development and execution of the work package for the cable project.
• Provide technical input and decision support within the onshore cable package.
• Manage decisions and progress within the work package.
• Develop and execute third-party engineering scopes for cables delivery.
• Review supplier documentation and ensure contractual compliance.
• Identify and mitigate package risks and maintain risk register.
• Coordinate interfaces between packages and suppliers; manage meetings.
• Follow management of change process and pursue value opportunities.
