Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an EGL1 Technical Project Manager to lead the management, coordination and resolution of technical interfaces for the EGL1 onshore cable installation, testing, energisation and commissioning works. The role reports to UK Project Manager and is based on a hybrid site/home model in Seaham, England with travel to Dunbar and occasional off-site meetings.

• Demonstrable experience delivering major infrastructure, transmission, HVDC, power transmission or utility projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing technical aspects of the EGL1 cable installation, testing and commissioning works.
• Developing, maintaining and managing the project Interface Register and associated technical action trackers.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for technical interface management between principal contractors, subcontractors, designers, equipment suppliers and client representatives.
• Supporting development and implementation of cable commissioning strategy, energisation plans and handover requirements alongside the wider project team.
