Job summary

The Clancy Group Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join our team on client sites across the region. This hands-on role requires practical safety leadership, site presence and strong relationships with operational teams to promote safe working practices and wellbeing.

You will provide practical H&S advice, lead investigations, and drive continuous improvement across multiple sites while ensuring compliance with current legislation and Clancy procedures.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) is essential.
• Tech IOSH membership is essential; progression towards Graduate IOSH desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is required and travel across the region will be needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations to check compliance and support safe systems of work.
• Provide practical Health & Safety advice and guidance to operational teams and colleagues at all levels.
• Lead and support accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and recommending improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Promote positive safety behaviours, encourage hazard reporting and deliver ABC (Attitude, Behaviour and Culture) tours.
• Support teams to meet Health, Safety and Wellbeing objectives and follow legislation and company procedures.
• Identify gaps in Health & Safety processes and help improve systems and procedures.
