Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an OLE Design Engineer for a flexible contract Outside IR35, based in our Warrington office with a hybrid pattern. The role focuses on hands-on OLE design delivery for tunnel resilience and clearance studies, requiring the ability to hit tight timescales.

The successful candidate will have NR OLE experience and demonstrate independent working and high-quality outputs. Senior Engineers with Chartership or 10+ years' experience command £45/hour; others £40/hour.

Qualifications

• Proven OLE design experience within a Network Rail environment.
• Strong practical design and technical delivery experience.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Relevant experience with tunnel resilience and/or clearance studies would be advantageous.
• Senior Engineer: Chartership or 10+ years' relevant experience.
• Engineer: Candidates with less than 10 years' relevant experience and without Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on OLE design delivery for projects involving tunnel resilience and clearance studies.
• Produce design outputs and deliver work to required standards and timescales.
• Work flexibly in a hybrid setup based from Warrington office.
