Job summary

Aureos is seeking an OLE Design Engineer to produce and review overhead line equipment designs in line with QA processes and project requirements. The role involves calculations, drawings and technical inputs, with supervision of junior engineers and CAD technicians.

A degree in engineering, 4+ years post-graduate experience, CDM 2015 certification and a valid UK driving licence are essential. The position is office-based in Preston with a flexible/zero-hours arrangement.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering discipline with 4+ years post-graduate experience.
• Certification in CDM Regulations 2015.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review OLE engineering designs, calculations and drawings.
• Check and validate designs in accordance with QA processes and standards.
• Assist tendering with design scope and valuations.
• Conduct/assist site surveys and supervise junior engineers.
• Coordinate with CAD technicians and ensure design assurance is applied.
