Job summary

Wood is recruiting a Senior Process Engineer to support the TAQA contract, delivering engineering support across studies, FEED, Detailed Design and operations for offshore assets in the UK. You will contribute to lifecycle integrity, risk management, and process safety while working with global experts to meet project requirements.

Essential qualifications include a chemical engineering degree and chartered status; offshore medical certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Chemical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status with an appropriate engineering council registered body or actively working towards accreditation.
• Current Offshore Medical and Survival certification.
• Sound knowledge of offshore installation functionality and relevant codes/standards.
• Understanding of UKCS offshore regulatory framework.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lifecycle technical integrity and operational risk management for offshore installations.
• Prepare key process documents: P&ID, Basis of Design, Locked Valve Register, Line List, Operating Manuals.
• Undertake process design work and review others' work as needed.
• Support Safety Instrumented System assessments, Hazardous Area Classifications, and Alarm Management.
• Contribute to HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, SIL and other process safety reviews.
• Review supplier quotations and project 3D CAD model as required.
• Participate in technical meetings and coordinate with project and asset personnel.
• Ensure compliance with TAQA Management System and applicable regulations.
• Deliver process engineering activities within budget and schedule.
