We are looking to add a highly motivated Lead Facilities Engineer to their expanding team. Based in Woking, you will lead the design and support construction and commissioning of critical offshore facilities. Managing subcontractors and internal engineering teams across the global 2H business and interfacing with other disciplines, you will ensure all engineering activities align with safety, environmental, and quality standards. You will work on a wide variety of projects, encompassing engineering design and analysis at conceptual, feasibility, FEED, and detailed design level to optimize production processes, maintain facility integrity, and ensure regulatory compliance in offshore operations. The successful candidate will be a leader capable of building and nurturing a team as well as aligning with counterparts in other 2H offices to ensure best practices. Duties & Main Responsibilities •Provide technical leadership and assurance for facilities engineering deliverables. •Provide inputs to Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, and EPC bids, including costs, durations, and deliverables. •Manage process, mechanical, electrical, telecom, and instrumentation work packages at various engineering levels. Mentor and develop junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the facilities engineering disciplines. •Interface with engineering teams covering structural and project disciplines. •Manage Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for facilities engineering work packages. •Lead and manage vendors and subcontractors to ensure contracted services meet project requirements and quality standards. •Review and approve engineering documentation, including equipment lists, PFDs, P&IDs, specifications, and technical reports. •Participate in and lead design review workshops, including HAZID and HAZOP. Required •Degree-qualified engineer (Masters decree preferred) in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum or related engineering discipline. •10+ years’ offshore facilities engineering experience, including oil processing systems and offshore platforms, with experience in a lead or senior technical role. •In-depth knowledge of offshore processing facilities design. •Strong project management skills, leading multi-disciplinary teams and adhering to budget and schedule constraints while ensuring quality. •Strong communication and leadership skills. •Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance. •Asset integrity and commissioning engineering experience is beneficial. | | | | | | | | | | | --- | --- | | | | |
