Job summary

Tall Grass Recruitment in Trafford Park, Manchester, is seeking two Senior Operations Coordinators for a busy ocean freight team. This end-to-end role covers import, export and cross-trade shipments worldwide, from booking to billing, with hybrid working available after probation.

You will manage full load and LCL shipments, coordinate with customers, overseas agents, carriers and suppliers, and assist pricing and procurement when needed. Immediate start with two vacancies.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years experience managing ocean freight shipments.
• Proven end-to-end experience across import and export.
• Experience handling full load and LCL shipments.
• Organised and detail-focused, able to manage shipments through billing.
• Confident communicating with customers and freight partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage ocean freight bookings from order placement through to completion.
• Coordinate import, export and cross-trade shipments worldwide.
• Handle full load and LCL consignments.
• Prepare and issue pre-alerts, ensuring file closure and accurate billing.
