Job summary

Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is recruiting Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapists to join the Active Recovery Service or Neighbourhood Therapy Teams. You will assess adults following illness, injury, hospital admission or functional decline, and develop personalised rehabilitation plans to promote recovery and independence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Experience in community-based rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload and deliver rehabilitation.
• Assess patients holistically after illness or injury.
• Develop and deliver personalised rehabilitation plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve function.
• Support discharge and help prevent hospital admissions.
• Supervise students and support staff.
