Job summary

Active Pathways is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team across four sites in Yorkshire. We welcome applications from Band 5 therapists seeking progression and Band 6 therapists with established clinical leadership.

You will complete assessments, develop person-centred rehabilitation programmes, support discharge planning, and mentor therapy colleagues within a supportive service. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience in rehabilitation, neurological, mental health or related specialist services.
• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
• Commitment to person-centred care and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Develop and implement person-centred rehabilitation programmes.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes.
• Support service users to develop independence and achieve recovery goals.
• Contribute to discharge planning and community reintegration.
• Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide supervision, support and mentorship to therapy colleagues where appropriate.
• Support student development and progression.
