Job summary

Bright Sparks & Early Years Nursery is seeking a Senior Nursery Practitioner (Maternity Cover) to lead and support a team delivering high-quality early years care and education in the Tots Department (2-3 years).

The role requires a strong understanding of EYFS and child development, excellent communication, and NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent). It is a full-time, year-round position (37 hours/week) on a rota basis from 7am to 6pm.

We seek to appoint a Senior Nursery Practitioner (Maternity Cover) to lead and support a team of early years staff in delivering high-quality care and education within our Tots Department (2-3 years). The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities that promote children’s development, while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

This role is perfect if you:

• Have a strong understanding of EYFS & child development
• Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Are organised, proactive & have a flexible approach
• Have NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)

This vacancy is full time and all year round, Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm on a rota basis (37 hours/week).
