Job summary

Willingcare in Manchester is seeking a Senior Nursery Practitioner to support children's development within a Good Ofsted setting. You will provide high-quality care and education, helping children grow independence through structured play and daily experiences.

The role requires Level 3+ in Early Years, experience as an Early Years Educator or Nursery Practitioner, and strong EYFS knowledge, with opportunities for training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years.
• Experience as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Nurse or Nursery Practitioner.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
• Strong communication skills with children and adults.

Senior Nursery Practitioner

Up to £13.75 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience

40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, Full Time

You will be working in a well-established early years setting rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, where children are encouraged to develop their independence through daily access to both indoor and outdoor spaces. The setting’s outdoor areas and allotment form an important part of the learning environment, giving children opportunities to explore, play and learn through practical experiences.

As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children’s development and wellbeing while working as part of a professional early years team with a strong focus on quality practice and the EYFS.

What You’ll Need

• Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years
• Proven experience working as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Nurse or Nursery Practitioner
