Job summary

Willingcare is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner for an outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery.

You will deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework, plan engaging activities, and build positive relationships with children and families. This full-time, all year round role offers ongoing training and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in an early years setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
• Caring, enthusiastic and nurturing approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and provide engaging activities that support children's learning, creativity, and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress to support their individual learning journeys.
• Make the most of the nursery's facilities to create exciting learning opportunities.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence and curiosity through play-based learning.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.

Qualified Nursery Practitioner

£27,000–£33,000 per year | Full Time | All Year Round

This Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery has been thoughtfully designed to provide exceptional care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years in a warm, inspiring environment.

From the moment you step inside, you'll find bright, spacious rooms that encourage creativity and curiosity, a dedicated art studio where imaginations can flourish and an exciting activity area designed to support every stage of children's development.

Outside, the wonderful garden offers endless opportunities for exploration, with plenty of space for children to play, investigate nature, and develop confidence through outdoor learning.

As a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you'll become part of a passionate and supportive team that's committed to delivering outstanding early years experiences while helping every child feel happy, valued, and ready to thrive.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within an early years setting.
