Job summary

Flow Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Deputy Nursery Manager to support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage, oversee planning and record keeping, and promote strong partnerships with parents and carers. The role requires prior nursery management experience, a solid EYFS understanding, and safeguarding knowledge.

You will assist with management information and staff communications to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 childcare and education qualification or equivalent.
• Experience managing a room or team in a nursery.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the EYFS, including overseeing planning and record keeping.
• Promote partnerships with parents/carers and families.
• Develop professional relationships with Local Authority departments and regulatory bodies.
• Stay informed on childcare policy and practice developments.
• Assist with nursery accounts and management information per company procedures.
• Assist with staff meetings, planning, and parent meetings.
