Job summary

Flow Recruitment Ltd is assisting a bespoke nursery group in recruiting a Senior Deputy Nursery Manager. The role focuses on supporting EYFS implementation, overseeing planning and records, and building strong partnerships with parents and authorities.

You will contribute to maintaining high professional standards, assist with nursery accounts, and help coordinate staff and parent meetings. A childcare qualification and nursery leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent childcare/education qualification
• Experience managing a nursery room or team
• Management qualification desirable but not essential
• Strong understanding of the EYFS
• Strong safeguarding knowledge

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the EYFS, including overseeing planning and record keeping
• Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members
• Maintain professional relationships with Local Authority departments, regulatory bodies and other agencies
• Stay informed on developments in childcare and education policies and practices
• Assist with accounts for the nursery and management information
• Assist with staff, planning and parent meetings and events
