Qualifications

• Proven experience in Safety Case development, management and assurance.
• Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks (ONR/DNSR).
• Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted technical authority across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to challenge assumptions, interrogate evidence and influence decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior leaders, customers and regulators.
• Balance technical excellence with programme delivery within commercial constraints.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Safety Case Leadership & Assurance across design, construction and operation.
• Lead the development and integration of Safety Cases across lifecycle phases.
• Assure the strength of safety arguments, evidence and hazard management.
• Provide oversight of safety strategies and justification plans.
• Intelligent Customer Function: challenge design and safety assumptions to ensure compliant outcomes.
• Ensure supply chain outputs meet technical, quality and regulatory standards.
• Stakeholder & Programme Engagement with customers, regulators and partners.
• Provide clear, authoritative technical advice within complex programmes.
