Job summary

Raytheon in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior New Product Introduction Manager to lead cross‑functional teams from initial concept through full production handover. You will champion Design for Manufacturability and participate in risk management, cost control and lifecycle governance across AS9145 and APQP processes.

The role requires a strong background in regulated aerospace/defence environments, with 2–3+ years in leadership, and the ability to obtain UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Significant manufacturing experience with leadership exposure (2–3+ years).
• Experience in highly regulated environments (Aerospace/Defence/Space).
• Knowledge of AS9100, AS9145, J-STD-001 and related standards.
• Ability to obtain/maintain UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct cross‑functional teams to design and industrialise new electronic products from concept to production handover.
• Lead stage-gate processes (AS9145, APQP) throughout project lifecycle.
• Champion DfM, DfT, and DFc to ensure robust, cost-effective designs.
• Identify and mitigate production risks using FMEA and RCCA.
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations for successful launches.
