Job summary

Xaar PLC in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive new product development from concept through production. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and ensure projects follow PLM processes while coordinating with stakeholders across functions.

Strong governance, planning, budgeting and risk management are essential to deliver on time and within scope in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. International collaboration and clear communication are required.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a STEM subject.
• 5-10 years’ experience managing projects in high-pressure NPD environments.
• Thorough understanding of NPD and PLM processes.
• Advanced IT systems knowledge: MS Office, Project, JIRA, Cognidox.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects in accordance with the PLM process.
• Create product concepts and develop designs, design verification and product validation plans.
• Create go-to-market plans and product collateral, arrange product training, complete product testing, documentation and launches.
• Use methods to control schedule, budgets, risk, quality and scope.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Drive adoption of PLM across departments and improve process efficiency.
